BeFrienders themselves are on a journey of growing in faith.

Spiritual growth

During training, BeFrienders learn Making Meaning--a small group process for learning from ministry. Through Making Meaning, BeFrienders practice the skills they use in ministry and discover connections between their ministry and their relationship with God.

Ongoing learning

Opportunities for continuing education provide BeFrienders with new insights and tools to grow in their ability to provide pastoral care.
