Julie Berg

 

 

Julie Berg was the program manager for the BeFriender Ministry National Office from 2002 through 2005. She has 15 years of experience as a training specialist and organization development consultant in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology companies such as HealthPartners, BlueCross BlueShield, Jostens, and ADC The Broadband Company. She is certified to present LifeKeys, the Seven Habits of highly Effective People, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DISC, and PDI Profilor. Julie has served as a coach, teambuilding consultant, and curriculum developer. Julie is a skilled facilitator and speaker who has written and delivered workshops on communication, leadership, change management, and team participation skills.

Julie holds a master's degree in human resources development and bachelor's in journalism/speech-communication from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

 

 

Wayne Luebbert

 

Wayne Luebbert received a master's degree in pastoral theology from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN and a master's degree in social work from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN. He has been a certified workshop leader with the national office of BeFriender Ministry since 1991. He is the co-program leader of his home church's BeFriender Ministry program. He served as secretary on his church's mission leadership team, is an active member on the social justice team, and is a worship leader. He also facilitates a monthly relationship and communication group.

Wayne is a licensed social worker working as a family therapist for Family Service Rochester in Rochester, MN. He facilitates a weekly multi-family group for families involved in the child protection system. He has also led a parenting education class for fathers.

 

Krista Lind

 

Krista Lind graduated from Miami University, Oxford, OH, with a degree in finance and went on to spend two years volunteering full time, first with Lutheran Volunteer Corp and later with Youth Encounter in Papua New Guinea.  She then obtained a master's degree in Religious Education from Luther Seminary, Saint Paul, MN.  

After serving in camping ministry, youth ministry, and Christian education, she returned to Luther Seminary to work in career development and candidacy.  Krista is rostered as an Associate in Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

 

Jeanne Radotich

 

Jeanne Radotich is a pastoral minister with the Church of St. Timothy in Blaine, MN. There she is the staff coordinator for the BeFriender Ministry program and provides crisis assessment, counseling, and referral.  She serves on the board of directors for the Community Emergency Assistance Program.

Jeanne holds a master's degree in counseling and psychological services from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree  in Theology and a certificate in pastoral ministry from the College of St. Catherine, Saint Paul, MN.  She is a member of the Association of Pastoral Ministers and a past recipient of the Mary Mulhern Ministry Award from the College of St. Catherine.  

 

Steve Rall

Steve Rall earned a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN and completed a master's  in religious education from Aquinas Institute of Religious Studies, Aquinas University, Grand Rapids, MI.

Employed by the Catholic Diocese of Lansing, MI, for 35 years, Steve held a variety of lay ministry positions including high school religion instructor, parish director of adult and family education, and diocesan director for parish social ministry. In his diocesan role Steve served as the regional convener for BeFriender Ministry. Steve retired from the Lansing diocese in June 2001.
